Requirements
Thermoplasts only appear in games with LAWK turned off in game settings.
If organelle upgrades are enabled in game settings, the following condition must also be true for the player cell:
- Contains at least 3 hexes of Thermosynthase for at least 5 generations in a row.

Thermosynthesis: Temperature → ATP
Generates energy passively from ambient environmental Temperature . More efficient form of Bacterial Thermosynthesis present in Thermosynthase.

Since Thermosynthesis requires no inputs other than ambient Temperature , it's essentially free energy. Further, Thermoplasts are more efficient than their precursor Thermosynthase, making them arguably the easiest method of energy generation in the game, providing you're willing to remain in hot patches like volcanic vents.
