List of Desired Art Assets

Hello. This is a list of art assets currently considered desirable to be added into the game, with varying levels of importance and likelihood of actually being added.

On the Roadmap

Multicellular Stage

  • Cnidocyst model (part-finished model in Dev Center)
  • Actomyosin model for muscle cells (basic model already in Dev Center)
  • Model for a "hydraulic movement vacuole"
  • Model based on axon for nerve cells (a more primitive version?)
  • Body cavity for Multicellular Stage
  • Icons for Multicellular parts
  • Extracellular matrix
  • Possibly extra-cellular parts for Multicellular Stage (mesoglea, shells)

Macroscopic Stage

  • Skin textures for 3D early organisms
  • Macroscopic terrain pieces

Other Additions

These items are not on the Roadmap, but would be desirable.

GUI

  • Intro video for Warm Little Pond
  • SVG versions of all organelle icons
  • SVGs of all other GUI Icons
  • Endosymbiosis duration cost icon

Microscopic Stage

  • Luciferase model and icon
  • Compound icon for luciferase
  • Nematocyst model and icon
  • New model for Light-Emitting Vacuole (to distingish from Vacuole)
  • Larger microbe terrain pieces
  • Microbe Stage Achievements icons

Macroscopic Stage

  • Early external parts that can't be adequately depicted with metaballs, etc. Examples would be sensing or locomotive fibers, primitive eye apparatuses, simple teeth.

Amakening Stage

  • Awakening models (Ground Rock, Wood, Hand Axe)
  • Awakening Icons (Interact, Build, Stone)
  • Improved Crafting window background

Miscellaneous

  • Easter eggs for all stages after Microscopic

Potential Additions

  • Hunting Lodge model
  • Factory model
  • Industrial Stage building models
  • Improved Industrial scenery for rocket launch
  • Proper model for Dyson Swarm?
